2:50 pm. Eating a late lunch and there’s a knock on the door.
Its comcast – apparently, I’d left my cable box unplugged too long
WTF! I mean, its my power, I can turn it off if I want to. Apparently the big brother machine phones home every so often to break all the companies privacy laws or something.
I think i’m going to unplug it again, and make the assholes come back out here again. Honestly, I can’t believe these guys actually make money. Geez.
Had enough yet? Here’s the catch – I’m IN A HOTEL! There’s a hotel guy following him around to make sure he doesn’t steal things, and he just rolls his eyes when I give him the ‘WTF’ look :P

I can feel the depression settling in already. both on a national and personal level :)
Seems like I struggle to get the basic things done lately. I’ve always been a ‘i can get it done in 10 minutes if I really try’ kind of guy, and now I’m finding it take me three days to just get something running at all…
I need to focus. I need to move all my communication shitzat off to another virtual window and focus on the text editor and the command line. Wonder what kind of music will get me in the right mood for this?
So Bush won. It boggles me to think that I don’t know anyone in that half of the nation that would vote for him. I developed the strongest political sentiment in a long time over this election, and am bitterly dissapointed. It seems like this president did everything he could wrong, but still he’s back again. I can see why Aristotle was so frustrated with democracy…. most people are idiots sigh.
